“On October 7th, the National Insurance Board marked its 50th Anniversary. This Golden Jubilee coincided with our annual Customer Appreciation Day, which is dedicated to expressing gratitude to our valued customers through hospitality and service. Across The Bahamas, each Local Office invited customers to join the celebrations, where they enjoyed treats and giveaways. 

Van Delaney, a pioneer and former Senior Deputy Director of NIB had the honor of cutting the cake at NIB’s Headquarters. He, along with Acting Director Heather Maynard gave brief remarks, while Chairman Philip McKenzie, Board Members and Executives participated in the celebration.”

What is the NI Insurable Wage Ceiling Adjustment ? The adjustment (increase) in the insurable wage ceiling is based on the change in the retail price index and change in salaries paid over the two previous calendar years plus 2%. The first automatic increase occurred in July 2014 and occurs every two years.
