NIB Partners with The Salvation Army Annual Red Kettle Bell Fundraiser

At NIB our Corporate Mission is to provide assistance to those in need. This holiday season, the staff at NIB partnered with The Salvation Army's "Love Beyond Christmas" annual Red Kettle Bell Fundraiser.

Staff on the islands of New Providence, Grand Bahama and Eleuthera are all smiles as we ring the bell to raise awareness and funds to help the less fortunate. Join us today in New Providence at The Mall at Marathon and in Grand Bahama at Solomon's Downtown to give.

The National Insurance Board advises recipients of Long-Term Benefits and Assistances that the 2018 increases to pensions will be paid in October. The increases (of up to 1.2%) will be paid retroactive to July of this year.

The amendments made to the National Insurance Act in 2010 introduced automatic biennial adjustments to pensions, grants and the wage ceiling. The adjustment to pensions and grants is based on the change in the retail price index in the two previous calendar years prior to the adjustment year.
