All persons who receive monthly benefit or assistance payments are required to be verified by submitting Form B. 75b if receiving a pension Benefit or Form B.75a if receiving a pension Assistance. For those not appearing in-person, forms, are required to be signed by a sanctioned authority as proof of continuing eligibility for the payments. Such verification must be effected at least twice each year during the pensioner's birth month and six months thereafter.
Benefit / Assistance payments will be suspended if a pensioner fails to be verified with the prescribed time frames.
If Benefit / Assistance is suspended for failure to be verified, you will experience a disruption in your payments. Visit the NIB website at www.nib-bahamas.com to download and print a verification form.
